One of the most amazing things I've been discovering about biblical storytelling is how each part of the process is a journey of faith. Learning a story so we can tell it well means living it, breathing it, owning it. Each step that brings us closer to that ownership is a worship experience--from the moment we crack open the bible, to reading it, studying it, interpreting it, understanding it, committing it to memory, rehearsing it, and finally, telling it. And when we finally do tell it, we include so many other people in the worship.
Come--even if you've never done anything like it before in your life, even if you can't memorize, even if the very thought of speaking in front of a group of people scares you to death--because each part of the journey is so incredibly rich. Share the parts you can do, and possibly, just possibly, you'll grow into the parts you can't.
